So... Gerald was driving (as usual) and listening to the radio when he heard that BG Park and Recreation was starting a dodgeball tournament for anyone wanting to form teams. We both thought it was hilarious!! And could be lots of fun. So, he talked with several guys from church and they have formed a dodgeball team. They call themselves (drum roll, please) the Sharp Shooters!! Tonight was their first game and they had so much fun. We broke out the pom-poms and our best cheers! I have to say the wives and kids had just as much fun watching as the guys did playing. Seeing grown men jump up in the air and do splits in order to dodge a ball was hilarious! One of the guys, Shaun, did a little stutter step right before throwing the ball that mimicked exactly Fred Flintstone before he would roll the bowling ball down the lane, for those of you who watched The Flintstones. His sister, Cara Broyles, and I nicknamed him twinkle toes!! So here are some pictures of the Sharp Shooters! They won 1 of their 2 games! Go GUYS!!
