Lunch with Daddy and his colleagues!

Today, Garrett and I met Daddy for lunch in Louisville. Gerald has been in trainings since Monday on new books, since his company merged with another publishing company. He and his co-workers are now learning the other company's books so that they can sell them this sales season beginning in October. So, Gerald wanted me to bring Garrett over for a visit and also to meet his new boss. We have been staying at my mom and dad's since Sunday night. It is so nice when Gerald is out of town in L-ville. It gives us an excuse to come visit Papa and Neena. We enjoyed getting to see everyone that works with Gerald. They are a very tight group and all are very spiritually minded, which is truly a blessing. Everyone made such a fuss over Garrett. It was sweet. He's good at stealing the show :) They all got to watch Garrett's movie and some got a little misty eyed. Aw.... So, it was a fun time. I am enjoying so much being at home and not having to work this year. As Gerald put it, "The best part of you not working is now when I go out of town you can go with me!" It is so nice to be able to stay together and not apart. I love my new job as a mother and am appreciating more everyday the way the Lord made us to do this great work. What a blessing motherhood is.
